n. pl. [Gr. phallos, penis; meros, part]
(ARTHROPODA: Insecta)
Genital phalic lobes formed at the sides of the gonopore of males, that form an inner pair of mesomers that unite to form the aedeagus, the intromittent organ, and outer parameres that develop into claspers of variable form.
